Was that the paw print symbols he had? I always thought it was a bit strange looking tbh.

Yes. Well, now it's a "lion".

That makes more sense. Still think it looks a bit strange, though. It just reminds me of an MLP character with their cutie marks. Its just a bit out of place IMO.
I'm not sure if I like it or not, its just different I guess :D

I think i liked the paw print better, but I will go with what ever it is, cause did you ever think that its some kind of birth mark that he was/will be born with by fate of the great kings of the past. that's my believe...for now

It kinda reminds me of the birthmark Alex had in the second Madagascar movie. He had a birthmark on his paw that was the shape of Africa as a continent. I just didn't like how they used it only for the second movie just for plot convince since it was never in the first film nor brought back in the third movie. Real continuity issue right there. :/

Kion's birthmark hasn't really bothered me that much to be honest, but I'm okay with it.

exactly, so it has to be some birth mark, but we still don't know for sure, and so the grueling wait continues (impatient sigh)

Or it might have been painted on by Rafiki, for all we know at this point. It probably is a birthmark, but it may be something else.
