Oh yes! But I will be glad with the Blue Ray 2D and 3D when they will come out in October.
So I am glad that The Lion King did much better than expected, because it might make executives rethink about their "ban" on traditional animation and good stories.
Exactly, I really hope this proves to be the case.

Indeed.

Only 2 traditionally animated films in 7 years should be considered a crime towards humanity.

I am not even a fan of CGI files due to technology demonstration. It's video games and scientific research that drive the need to improve computers in both CPU ("thinking" calculations,) and GPU power (drawing pictures). CGI films simply leach of computer power, which is why the pre-rendered The Incredibles looks the same as the real-time game Team Fortress 2 (came out only 3 years later).

Traditional animation, on the other hand, looks great when done right, and doesn't evolve just becasue computers get faster, leaving room for plot and characters.

If I want a tech demo, I would go play Crysis.
If I want to watch a good animated movie, I will watch The Lion King.

I have a question for anyone who saw it and has eager eyes. Does this new 3D version have SEX in it? And by that I mean, the dust that originally blew to display the letters "SFX" and was removed because blind people misread it as SEX? I wander if they were using the original theatrical version if that SFX thing is back there?

No. What he meant that there are too many CGI movies and not enough traditionally animated. By the fact the The Lion King (as a re-release) was only one of two traditionally animated movies to come out in seven years, it's a crime to humanity that there are so few.
