I had the pleasure of seeing it Friday, on opening night; and it was absolutely AMAZING.<3
To start out, I think the 3D effects were awesome! Some people may not like it, but I thought it added a completely new sense of depth and reality to the movie we all know and love. :D
It was so wonderful to see both kids (many of whom held TLK plushies in their arms,) as well as teenagers/adults enjoying the movie with so much enthusiasm- just as if it had never been seen before. I myself, who was nearly having a heart attack in my seat, actually felt a newly heightened adoration for the film after seeing it introduced in this way. As if you couldn't love it enough, right? As the theater was completely sold out, I could feel the appreciation and love for the film radiating around me, as people laughed and smiled brightly in unison during most of the scenes. I could swear I heard a few sniffles during Mufasa's death as well...
What really took the cake, though, was when the entire audience broke out in cheers and applause at the end of the movie. I could've hugged them all! :)

Before I saw it that night, I went with my boyfriend to the mall and visited the Disney store. I couldn't resist the plushies-buy one get one free! :D
He thought it was adorable how I walked around like a little 5 year old!

^Very true. It's amazing how the audience applauded at the end of the movie. But what's more, is that some even stayed for the credits to roll by. Now that's a sign of a good movie!
