Question: Will The Lion King 3D also work on a Blu-ray player, but without a 3D TV? (I mean, wil it appear as a normal blu-ray film (2D), or will it not work?)

I *think* it will just convert it to regular Blu-ray...not sure though!

I hope so! I am a huge TLK fan, but as I am not planning to buy a 3D-TV (those things are way to expensive) it wouldn't be nice to miss TLK HD :)

There's going to be a Blu Ray 3d package like shown AND the usual Blu ray/DVD combo. No need to convert anything.

Yeah. I believe there will also be a "DVD only version" too but don't quote me on that.

Just speculating since that's what Disney usually does.
