Personally, I don't see why there should be a post count in the first place. I've seen other, normal boards without post counts.. Oh well. That's nice, because I rarely post in the TLK boards anymore >.<

Hmmmm,this might be a double edged sword,but I think it should be alright after all. People might stop spamming the TLK related topics with replies that are just quoting and saying ''^ this''.
EDIT: This could also prove very beneficial for making the arcade topics more active,not by spam I hope,but by actual meaningful posts.

Yeah, not that I'm really bothered too much by the post count, I mean, all I really care about is giving well thought out posts, being polite and just generally having a good time here People will obviously have their own opinions about this, though.

Well yes. The only reason why I am hating the change is because it will cause a form of inflation. And right now, I am hating inflation because of what the government is doing to my country: spamming money as fast as the printers can churn it out. Didn't we learn from Germany right before WWII what happens when you spam?

Eventually I'll get used to it. I also don't consider the post count much. I place value of the membership time than the post count. (hmm, should have signed up earlier. If I would have signed up when I found this site, I would have been a member for several months more.... Ah well...)

Lol at this... If you mean inflation was the only cause you lost track, mate.
In the interbellum all European countries suffered from inflation, the only country succesfully restoring from it was England. Inflation was a (minor) cause of the war (in Germany), but certainly not the only one. All the other countries suffered inflation and they did not start the war, did they?

But I agree spamming money is not a good thing to do.

Your thinking to much about this, this is not an economy, it's a forum. The whole reason Moka allowed the post count in the other areas, is because when he took out post counts, it made the lion king forums more active, but there weren't very many productive posts, because anyone wanting to raise their post count would just spam there instead.

So, I think it's a good idea to bring back the post counts, it could help the lion king's sections quite a bit, because they are indeed in desperate need of help. This is a TLK forum, yet that's currently just a spam-hole with no end in sight. Maybe people will go back to spamming the places for that, instead of the main boards for which this site is meant for.

The arcade is meant for more spammy posts, why do they need to be meaningful there? I think we need to more focus on getting the TLK forum back on it's feet.
