i just chatted with a disney insider on another site

he says there’s a good chance the trailer will drop during tomorrows football game.

Well, The Lion King has been airing quite frequently on Freeform so it takes as a sign that the teaser trailer is not far down the line.

Some sources are saying to expect a poster tomorrow morning. (Or within the next 10 hours or so for those outside the Western Hemisphere.) If true, it reminds me of what they did with Black Panther last summer, where the first poster just appeared online out of the blue before they dropped the first trailer (unannounced until that day with the poster) that evening during one of the NBA Finals games.
