I can see the conversations between Simba and Kion now.
Kion: Dad, what was it like in pride rock when you were a cub?
Simba: Not much different than it is now. Except for the part where random animals didn’t get killed by random acts of mother nature every 5 seconds. Not many falling rocks, mudslides, floods or other things like that happening.
Kion: Wow! On a daily basis I nearly get myself killed trying to rescue tomorrows dinner. Thankfully we sing happy songs about it.
Simba: There was a time when I fell into the watering hole and your mother had to rescue me. We sang a song about it. Others joined in.
Kion: That sounds uh....
Simba: And when I was your age I needed Zazu just to accompany me to the watering hole with your mom. One time we sang a song just to trick zazu. We went to the elephant graveyard. Got in big trouble because we almost got killed.
Kion: Reminds me of the time I went to the outlands and met my hyena friend Jasiri.
Simba: WHAT YOU WENT INTO THE OUTLANDS AND BEFRIENDED A HYENA?!?!?!
Kion: We sang a song about friendship.
Simba: Oh I guess that makes it ok.
Kion: Then another time I almost got killed by Zira in the Outlands
Simba: WHAT?!?!?!?!
Kion: We.... sang a song?
Simba: That makes everything ok.
Kion: and remember the time I brought back the guy who killed your dad, in spirit form?
Simba: ...
Kion: He sang a song?
Simba: Oh ok.
Kion: So is it ok for me to go the outlands tomorrow for poker and beer with Kimba the white lion?
Simba: YOU ARE TOO YOUNG FOR BEER
Kion: But there will be singing.
Simba: Ok I guess.
Kion: Yay!
