Ok according to the Family tree video, they got a big fact wrong , Rafiki and Mufasa help SImba Remeber who SImba was , NOT TIMON AND PUMBAA! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU DISNEY? Well there goes the fame of our lion King world, down the drane, goodbye TLK, everyone hates now (storms off)

is there anyway this could make sense?

Seriously though, you over react far too much. They got a fact wrong but it's not going to suddenly make people like tlk less.

A very short, low quality version of the first movie. Go watch that if you're interested in what happened.

Okay, okay, so they added elements of TLG into the video, such as Scar being in charge of his Lion Guard, and adding Kiara and Kion to the end.

However, something that kinda peeved me off: It's understandable to have Simba remember Mufasa as a great ruler who did no wrong, due to him being Mufasa's son, and only knowing him for a relatively short time. But to hear Rafiki describe Mufasa in the video in a way that also seemed near worship-like, it got me thinking: shouldn't Rafiki know better?

You are right dgfone. Mufasa once ordered pizza and forgot the sausage, which is rafikis favorite pizza topping. Disrupted the balance of the great circle of life for at least a week. Maybe two!

When It comes to stuff thats way off, can we relate it to other franchises, I tell my sister in law im so mad at Disney right now and she told me now you know how star wars fans feel, im no star wars fan but i want to know are there other franchies out there that got facts and stuff wrong too? cause im just looking for anyway to feel better abut this inaccuracy, its just making my blood boil and making me feel uncomfortable. I REALLY want to be happy about this, and im not as excited as I should be. im excited and worried both at the same time I just want to find a way to make a deal with all the wrong stuff and i cant find a way to make peace with it.

I'm not sure this is something that bothers 99% of TLK fans to be honest.

The problem with star wars was not just the retcons in the prequel trilogy (as an example, the force being bacteria in episode 1 instead of the mystical thing in the original trilogy) but the numerous unnecessary and some character personality changes in the numerous special editions they made of the originals. People get mad at Han Solo shooting greedo in self defense as he was intended to only be the one shooting as he was a cold blooded mercenary at the time.

The only major change they made to the lion king was in the dvd with 'the morning report'. Most didn't like the change but didn't hate it too much and it was changed back for the blu ray release.

A change to 'the lion king' on the level of han shooting second would be like making scar doubt that he would be a worthy king. In just about every scene with him he intensely believes he would be the better king than Mufasa and his actions make that apparent.
