The sparkle probably won't be in the show, I see it as a transition thing during the various show footage from the reel in the youtube link where the gif is from.

I can't see magic being in the show, maybe elements of mysticism like in the first two movies but not magic.

No, it hasn't been confirmed...

Like mentioned in the other topic it's most likely jason marsdon is angry that disney didn't call him or replaced him in the role.

Why would he confirm this when he would likely be under a legally binding nondisclosure agreement with disney? How would he even know this in the first place if he wasn't?

There's something very fishy about this whole thing.

the only thing confirmed yet, is that Kovu won't appear in the show. What happened to him, is not outspoken. If Kovu was killed, there would be a mention of it in the series, or Kiara would be mourning. It is also possible they are going to portray Kiara as a cub, and it all takes place before Kovu and Kiara meet. In that case, Kovu is not dead, he just didn't appear yet.

Although I have wondered if possibly Disney might for whatever reason just go back some years and this whole thing takes place whilst Kiara is still a 'teen' of sorts. It seems unlikely, though.

Kovu hasn't been killed off, the only thing that suggests that is a sensationalist clickbait mtv article that looked too deeply into what jason marsden said.

Jason has suggested last november that disney is looking into finding someone other than him for the role of kovu. Jasons 'circle of life' comments, like julie said, is more a passing of the torch comment than something morbid...

It will be totally messed up if kovu got the sarabi/sarafina treatment... But that hasn't happened so calm yourself down.

A lot of controversy and anger to you maybe...

Outside of this rumor almost everything i've read has been positive. Especially the recent likelyhood that cam clarke is voicing simba because he is almost as much to simba as broderick.
