I have always loved lion king fan fiction I used to read all the time years ago before my college life started, I miss it, but I also dont read it anymore cause I worried that Ill get too many false hopes and too many false expectations when it comes to TLG

While I do think that it's great that we're getting a lot of new tlk characters it would be nice if they had more episodes focusing on the old ones.

I am getting a feeling that Nala has been mostly ignored since the first movie because the writers don't know what to do with her character. Thing is this show is a way to make her more defined outside of 'giving advice to others'. More scenes like her and simba travelling or having her practice hunt with kiara. Heck, maybe even having her interact with her son?


Sometimes it feels like this show adds good stuff to the tlk universe other times it feels like wasted opportunities.

I think they are just trying to get the shows paws wet first if you know what I mean, Im sure they will expand and stretch out out more with the characters and there interactions with others, just give it time

yeah, generally I feel pretty patient about giving the show time to reach its full potential and take advantage of new opportunities. hopefully Simba and especially Nala will get more time in the limelight eventually...

but I gotta echo the sentiment of some others and say that one thing I'm feeling VERY impatient about is the total lack of background lionesses! when will they show some? will they EVER? why haven't they realized how weird it is to just have Simba without a pride? the two mysterious non-royal cubs only make things more confusing. haha. I'm just desperate for some answers on this one....
