Another thing I recently thought of is, due to whatever happens in this episode Kion vows never to use The Roar again. Is it possible that Kion inadvertently hurts Nala while he is trying to save her? :kionwhat:

That's a really neat speculation, but for some reason I just can't foresee Disney Junior allowing that, even if it'd be the best possible way to help us sympathise with Kion. Sill, I hope it is what sparks this vow. Although, it'd also be pretty interesting if he badly hurt the hyenas (in a way that makes him realise that no one deserves to be punished that badly), or destroyed some of the land around them, creating havoc for some of the Pridelanders...anything that gives him this realisation that it's too powerful for him to control.

That is also a strong possibility.

hmm… he could have actually hurt the hyenas in the Return of The Roar movie at the near end. could be his mom, sister/rest of family or one of his friends that accidentally gets caught up in the Roar. I'm willing to wait and see, meanwhile here's just a quick photo manipulation I did:
