If Nne and Tano were so independent and we saw them outsmarting Janja in a matter of seconds, I wonder why they hung around him and followed his orders for so long. I'd get if they would be new hyenas that didn't know Janja, but they were in his clan for a while now. and Janja seemed dumber than ever.

My guess is that they didn't want to attempt a coup with Cheezi and Chungu around it would have been three against two. As for Nne and Tano, I doubt they will go back to Janja, or that Janja would want them back. In all actuality I think that The Lion Guard has expanded their rouges gallery.
