I actually really enjoyed this episode. It's nice to see more interactions between the members of the Lion Guard. I'm warming up to the characters more but Bunga still annoys me....and more fart jokes....really? It's not funny anymore Disney . In fact I don't know any kid that finds them amusing anymore. Oh and that song was awful IMO.
But I liked the new Croc characters . They were cool as was the snake. But the thing that bugged me was not allowing the snake to eat that Hyrax. I mean it goes against the Circle of Life doesn't it? Ok yes it's a kids show but it was still odd. But yes I enjoyed this episode and I'm looking forward to watching more and showing them to the class . And darn that ending song is so catchy.
I dont think it would be far to the hyrax to be eating after it was just saved, I mean if the the Hyrax didnt need saving and then was eatin by the snake then yeah, it would be ok for that snake to have his lunch but its not far when it has just been saved

And well, my cousin loved the fart jokes in Return of the Roar, so I guess kids still do like it. Not saying I'd be thrilled with more fart jokes, but if they include them, I can see why.
-more james earl jones is always a good thing.
That wasn't James Earl Jones voicing Mufasa. It was Gary Anthony Williams as listed in the end credits.
I watched it last night, and I was impressive. The animation quality looks genuinely like 2D animation, even though it was most likely animated on a computer. Makku was a pretty decent villain with some menace and a booming voice as provided by Blair Underwood. The crocodile fight was surprisingly intense for a pre-school audience. More scenes of Simba and Nala is always a good thing. If I have to take points off, it would be how Mufasa is easily accessible to Kion in times of desperate guidance. In Simba's Pride, Mufasa's ghost never appeared before Simba in which he tells Nala that the Great Kings of the Past are "silent as stars." Mufasa's ghost should be used to a minimum so the characters can make their own mistakes and learn from them. I could go without Bunga's smell and fart jokes subplot, but it has its meaning in the episode.
