@Carl Skywalker Agreed! Do you think it's Nuka?

@PanPardus I'm kind of thinking that the lion next to Zira is Scar as well but if she was his queen at one point would that mean that it would still be possible that Nuka could be his son?

It would definitely be possible from a temporal perspective. However, Nuka never alludes to Scar as being his father; he just calls him "Scar" with some measure of distance and disdain because he was overlooked as "king" material. He seems pretty removed from the whole "Let's avenge Scar's death" thing that Zira had going on, and he only acted throughout the film in attempts to please and impress her, not to try and live up to what Scar may or may not have wanted for him, unlike Kovu who was imbued with the mantra of You are Scar's rightful heir. Even Zira herself, during Nuka's funeral scene, refers to "my poor Nuka" rather than "our poor Nuka" in her 'prayer'.

Yeah, unless he hated Scar so much that he just had enough of calling him his father since maybe he was originally going to be the chosen one but until Kovu came along things started to get out of hand for him. On the other hand, maybe he wasn't aloud to call Scar "father" for various reasons otherwise he would be abused by Zira? :?

The cub painting here seems to be Nuka or Kovu, with Zira.

i think that the relation between scar, zira, hyenas, outlanders and the lion guard(s) will be explained by rafiki in this episode. they are all visible on the cave paintings and i believe rafiki has a story going with them... i keep checking this thread lol. because i am extremely excited (besides my 1st time going to tlk musical here in holland 8 november... and then this very Episode of Episodes XD) so that is a nicely high dose of tlk.. offtopic: my sis in law gave me a funko pop Simba figure the other day! aaand got myself a tlg colouring book and figurine set of tlg... never had such a high dose of fan-ness before!
missing the old deviantart...

Ah, I was wondering if someone would bring up this video. I don't think it really changes much aside from the fact that Kovu is (with the scene) older than Kiara, enough that the age difference should've been apparent via their size when they meet as cubs. (Kovu should be roughly the size Kion is currently.) In fact, this is about the level of depth (and the same explanation) I'm expecting to get out of Rafiki's explanation in next week's episode, just old in a less roundabout way.

A deleted scene is DELETED for a reason, is not canon in any way, it never happen.
