It was confirmed by him on his twitter last year. Vitani/nuka's voice actors are back as well.
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.

OMIGOSH I'm hyped! It's so soon!
I hope they add more depth to the outlanders with this episode and that they aren't just "the bad guys." I mean, obviously they have to be considered "bad" because of the timeline established in SP, but I want to see their perspective a little bit too. Make them sympathetic like they were in SP, please! And I would love for Zira to be referenced (not gonna hold my breath for her to make an appearance since it wasn't advertised) or for other adult outlander lionesses to show up. #BringDottyBack2016 x) x) At least make it obvious that Kovu Vitani and Nuka are part of a larger pride and not just lone young lions out in the outlands ya know what I mean? And I'm really hoping for some outlander/Kiara interactions.
Also, don't make Vitani into a bratty girly girl! Those are my wishes for the episode. I'm just glad to see new content with my faves, keep it relatively in character and I'll be overjoyed!

Anybody else have a wishlist?

The press release was about returning voice actors. Her voice actress died. Maybe they don't want to try replacing her, out of respect, but her not being mentioned doesn't mean she won't show up.

Do you think there's still a chance she could return with a new voice actor to play an important role, even though there hasn't been any mention of her yet? I didn't realize that the press release was about returning voice actors, I thought it was about returning characters that happened to be getting returning voice actors.

you do understand those wishes will not be met :eyeroll: , considering fans dont have a voice and beggars cant be chooser, this is why i dont think too much of it, I just wait and see what it brings and make it work for me

It's perfectly normal for fans to talk about what they hope to see in new stuff? It's called discussion. The episode's already made, I'm not expecting a producer to see my post on this website and go "Yes! Let's add her ideas to the episode!" Because the production for the episode is done.

My "list" is short and reasonable anyway. To say that my wishes won't happen and roll your eyes at me is just mean. I said I wanted to see:
1. Depth to the outlanders
2. Make it clear that Kovu Vitani and Nuka are part of a larger pride
3. Outlander/Kiara interactions
4. Keep them relatively in character

And then at the end, I said that I'll be happy with anything as long as they stay in character.

Which one of those do you think is totally unreasonable that it won't happen and that I should just be quiet and wait for the episode to air?

What's even the point of having a discussion thread before the episode airs if we can't talk about what we want to see in it?

I think gothprincesskiara is just stating what we have come to expect from TLG, which is misshapen canon and continuity. She just worded it rather poorly. :-P

I'm happy for fans of Simba's Pride that they're finally getting the episode of their dreams, but I do hope you all aren't let down with what you receive. TLG will really have to scrape together a strong storyline in order for these things to work in harmony, and although it's been fairly acceptable with its storylines so far, I'm not entirely sure if they'll be able to pull this off with the assurance that this is indeed canon. I think it'll still be a little bit flimsy, because they've put themselves in such an awkward situation with this show.

I actually hope Zira does not make a return simply because her essence will be completely toned down for the sake of the target audience. All dislike for the sequel aside, Zira had the bones of a great villain. I don't think they'll be able to show that off here without having to add some sort of lightheartedness, which could ruin it all, i.e some stupid Bunga joke.

I would love an explanation for where the hell these lionesses were during the first movie and what relationship they had with Zira and Scar himself. It's always bugged me.
