If you look closely there are evidence of bones, now I want to say that this is Scars lair, but that makes us wonder what happened to the Elephant Graveyard, and it looks like this vulture is one of the bad, and both him and the hyena are both disgusting scavengers. who is that vulture?

Fun fact: Lions steal more of hyenas' kills that hyenas steal of lions.


Anyway, back to topic it was mentioned in Simba's Pride that hyenas left Elephant Graveyard. That's weird because Scar's cave is the same place Nuka and Vitani went to and apparently the same place shown in TLG trailer where hyenas live in. About the Outlands, in SP we have outlanders living in a dry land with termite mounds, the outlands shown in TLG are rocky areas with caves. Could that be that there are two different Outlands?

I don't think the Vulture has been officially named yet, but I bet he is the leader of the vultures.

I always thought the place where Scar sang Be Prepared was The Elephant Graveyard, however that is never stated. It could very well be called The Outlands. Assuming Lion King 2 will not be retconned out of existence, that would indicate that there are two Outlands.

Some people have been calling the vulture Chungu, but I haven't seen any official evidence to that. I think there was one voice actor (Janja's?) who let a bit of test audio slip that, by the sounds of it, confirmed an alliance with the hyenas and the vultures before we even saw this character.

I personally believe that the Outlands is a huge place. I wouldn't be surprised if it's all one place, just with changes through the years.

The vultures name is chungu. It is on the characters list of the movie

I assumed Chungu was the slightly larger hyena, the one that grabbed Bunguaa in the first preview. However according to the Lion Guard Wiki. Chungu is a vulture:

Ok looking at this guy.......the first thing that must come to mind is welll...ED right? this guy might be related to ED somehow, Now I know I said I was staying away from the what ifs, but still this guy cant help but make you wonder. Or he could just be another crazy hyena as they usually are!...XD

I would not be surprised at all if there was a connection between that Hyena and Shenzi, Banzi, and Ed. An interesting FAN THEORY I head is that this Hyena is the pup of Shenzi and Ed.

Interesting. I heard a fan theory that Janja is Shenzi's cub which I think is a cute theory
