Was very happy with her character in the recent episode. She was very hesitant about being queen, which I think shows that now that she's a bit older, she is taking her responsibility more seriously, but she still carries the doubt (and probably the disinterest as well, to a lesser extent) from when she was younger. She acts regal to impress her father but is still in a transitional phase.

I liked that too, if it weren't for Tiifu and Zuri, I think she would have behaved even closer to her SP self, if I'm honest, but hey, they were just behaving the way most kids/teens would in that position.

Exactly, Like I said before once Simba gave her the We are one talk and smiles at the end, thats when she barley starts to understand her responsibility, then Kion is born and thats when she fully accepts being the future queen, remember as kids grow from kids to teens to adults there minds change dramatically
