In an early storyline of TLK, Mheetu was Nalas little brother. He doesn`t appear in TLK, or in any book or comic. (at least nowhere it`s proven that it`s him.) There are some concept art of him though.

I'd love to know why the cub is there... It's completely useless. I bet the artist just wanted to tease us.

I know that baby cub Sarafina is holding has the same colours as her and Nala, but that doesn`t mean it`s Sarafinas cub. It could easily be the cub of a different lioness in the pride, Sarafinas colours aren`t exactly unique.

Yeah, you're right... We don't get to see other adult lionesses than Sarabi and Sarafina in this comic, so we don't know how they'd be coloured.

And aww at Sarabi calling Mufasa "honey." <3

True, but we do see the other lionesses in the TLK movie. Most of them have quite similar colouring to Sarafina, but some are darker like Sarabi. My point is that Sarafina is not the only lioness who could have given birth to a light coloured cub.

True. I see the colours get messed up in TLK comics all the time. I`ve seen Nala with coloured toepads in one panel, and whiskers in another, f.ex.

In this comic, Simba has Nalas colours in one panel. It looks really weird.

at the beginning sarafina was clear then becomes dark, sarabi too...

The baby's head is strangely coloured. It looks like the lower part of its face is lighter colour than the main coat, the same colour as the muzzle and belly... Or am I seeing things?
