Hey guys, not sure if someone else has shared this before already, but I found a trailer for The Lion King on Blu-Ray and it looks pretty official:

They've also updated the cover art! It looks better, but barely.


imo they need to continue fixing Simba and Nala, but Timon, Rafiki, and Pumbaa look fine now

I don't get what's up with the Blu Ray cover. If Disney spent at least 5 minutes on DeviantArt, they'd see how great covers fans have designed and possibly use them instead of this.

God, I really wish they'd do a Scar/Mufasa backstory movie.

I just hope they won't add any more extra scenes like they did with the Morning Report =\ That kinda ruins the whole thing IMO. Unless it's a really good scene.

Oh and Simba's Pride/TLK 1 1/2 are confirmed for blu ray too as part of a box set:

One concerning thing is that it seems there will only be one blu ray disc, not two like Beauty and the Beast among others. Doesn't sound like many special features then.

I had a dream the other night where I was watching "The Apprentice" and the task was to create a promotion for TLK on Blu-Ray. Oh how I wish it had been real.
