I dare say that Kovu is possibly the most interesting hero of all time. Both his mother and his adoptive father are arch villains and the guy turns out to be a hero. To go from the tool of villainy to good in that short span of time is positively insane. Kovu is much more than just the "hot" guy who falls in love with the princess, he's much deeper than that.

I think that he shows the most character development out of all the characters, even Simba as hegets corrupted and then learns to be good again.

hm, corrupted? I'm not sure he was really good or bad to begin with, he was taught his whole life to be bad, but perhaps it was his nature that made it possible for him to escape that cycle.

We can never be sure, but that is what I believe in regards to Kovu. He's smarter than he gets credit for.

He is, I believe he's a better hero to be truthful. Simba is a great hero, but predictable.
