Yeah, Cummings only voiced for Irons for the last part of Be Prepared, because Irons damaged his vocal cords after screaming :
"you won't get a sniff without me!" After that it was all Jeremy. ^^

Actually I was wrong, obviously Thegeni99 has a sharper ear than me. The change in voice actors occurs WHEN Scar sings "So be prepared for the coup of the century" NOT after as I had originally thought.

Scar: for the most part, he controlled everything from the backstage, pulling the strings. Real villains are not supposed to be in the spotlight - it draws to much attention, for lack of a better term. If Simba actually died, then Scar would have been the perfect villain, even if it would have made The Lion King much worse, and with a very, very bad ending. (Not to mention sad).
