Well I believe the Kopa + Vitani thing would work out better. It's because Kovu was trained to kill Simba, while Vitani wasn't, so she would fall in love with Kopa easily. Kiara and Kovu could fall in love after Zira's death.

Kopa + Vitani is one of my favorite couples! But still, if the movie was about Kopa and Vitani's love story, Kiara would be useless... I like Kiara.

Kopa returns! lol i'm just kidding but what if they make a Lion King 3?! (NOT TLK 1 1/2)

how is that like Nala lol? she had a major role in the first movie; coming up with a plan to ditch Zazu, searching for help, convincing Simba to come home, rallying the lionesses, fighting the hyenas (there's an awesome screenshot of her knocking them off Simba). but she never had anything to do with the "we are one" thing.

I think she'd be pretty much useless too. but honestly I wished they had went with Kopa instead of Vitani, it would've avoided some of the plot holes. Kiara without her leadership in healing the rift between the prides is kind of annoying
