I've always thought that Vitani was Kovu's sister. It makes more sense, SBS has already cleared that up. As for Zira, Scar could've just been using her for an heir (Nuka) But he wasn't good enough so Scar just gave up and was killed before he could make sure he was getting another heir... And Zira was heartbroken and went to someone else or something, and the result was Kovu and Vitani... Then she went mad.

Makes sense xD I'd go on about Kopa some more, but to be quite frank, I'm bored with it. You don't support him as canon, and I do. Believe whatever you like, it's MY Lion King, YOU'RE as rightfully entitled to an opinion as Simba is rightfully entitled as King.

My "Zira" theory is they wre madly in love with each other, and Scar partly wanted to take over the Pridelands for Zira and for revenge on Mufasa. He didn't take his pride as (as you can see clearly) they are too scrawny and weak, so he gathered the hyenas instead. I think it was then Zira was impregnated with Kovu/Vitani, and Scar became furious with her. They fought about this. Soon after Scar died and Zira felt horrible for all those nasty things she had said and now she seeks to fulfill Scar's wish. But she died (I do NOT think she survived the fall into the river). I like this theory because it fits nicely into the time slots ^_^

Added to this, I think EITHER Zira knew Scar wasn't fond of Nuka, or she was being protective of Nuka and wanted Kovu to become King since he beared the most resemblence to her beloved Scar.... or what her Beloved Scar wished he would've looked like.

Valid argument, I guess. But how come Zira didn't fight for Scar when he was being overthrown by Simba? They may have fought but she wouldn't want him to die

I don't think Zira knew until it was too late. Or maybe she thought she didn't want to die fighting because she had Scar's new heir to raise.

Makes sense, I guess. But if she was as crazed as she was in the second movie or as stubborn I think she would've went through with it. This is a bit off topic, we're meant to be discussing Vitani, are we not? x3

I don't think she wnet fully phsyco-lioness until Scar's death really sunk in and she began having nightmares. But you're right, this is a Vitani forum, so....

I don't get why every1 had trouble distinguishing her gender She looks a bit rowdy, but it's easy to tell she's female.

Simba tells Nala to find Sarabi and the other lioness'. I always filled up that hole by imagening Nala and no one else either just chose not to alarm Zira about Simba's return, knowing she'd fight for Scar because of her own son having been chosen as the next king so she could not allow Simba to be back and because she probably was a Scar fangirl already--or perhaps they didn't alarm Zira because she had such young cubs as Kovu and Vitani to take care of and somebody had to stay and watch over them. Zira cuold've also been out hunting or somewhere far away with her cub so that they didn't even find her. It doesn't take long for the lionmess' to appear at the scene so Nala apparently didn't search too wide area.

Makes sense SBS. If she had young cubs, I would doubt she'd help with the fight, but I bet she regretted not helping when she found out Scar died...

You actually agree with my theory??!! I thought you were going to start poking holes in it And then I think Zira was found in the pridelands mourning by Scar's dead body. Simba approached her and she tried to attack him. Knowing this and that she was one of Scar's heir, she was exiled. I think her exile had nothing to do with Kopa.

I'm not sure how did my post content agree with your theory as I was talking about why she didn't fight at the end and you were talking about something else? So if you agree with what I said, then I guess I agree with your theory in those terms, as in for why she didn't fight for Scar at the end.

But as for what you told about your Zira theory... I'm gonna take this into the Zira topic now and just link to this post here. =)
