No doubt Simba was a far better king than SP makes him look, however, being a Kovu supporter, I am affronted by Simba's prejudice.

True Simba's prejudice got the better of him, but being a Simba supporter, I would have done the same thing at first. After all, It was truly Zira's fault saying that he was to be Scar's heir. It's not Kovu's fault, and though Simba was blinded by hatred towards Scar, he acted in the way that he thought was right.

We can thus assume that this is unavoidable and that Simba has merely another lesson to learn. Simba is truly a good king.

Well put and I completely agree.

Indeed, I don't intend to impinge upon Simba's honor, I just feel the need to defend my favorites, that's all.

Perfectly understandable. After all, I too am a Kovu fan.

I am clearly more obsessed, though I do have a Simba Squiby.

I walk a path that shadows Kovu, but Simba's dark past makes me a fan of him as well.

What Simba has gone through in his life starting as a cub, with that dark past as he grows up as an adult/king as well, that's 1 of the most interesting things that I love about him. Simba is a very symphethetic to deal with. He has a lot on his plate.
