Kopa

Can we please talk about Kopa again? :D

And seriously SBS...I'm sorry if I sound rude but you must try to make your posts seem nicer. It seems as if you're attacking Kopa in every way you can find. You're only discussing the evidence you find that's in your favor. I'm pretty sure you've found plenty of things that prove Kopa is canon.

Anway. Wether Kopa in canon or not, I still find him as a great opportunity for fanart, fanfics, and speculations. I personally beleive Kopa is canon. I don't care if you disagree or not. I beleive that Kopa was ignored. And to me, The Lion King: Six New Adventures prooves to me that he is real.

And with Kopa's presentation, SBS and others say it was a female, but I've never heard of an orange female cubbie
Well... can't that be said of everything we talk about on here?
In principal I guess so, yes to an extent. But the point is that most of the other things discussed on here are not really debates / arguments and so can be discussed in public like that. Take a thread that perhaps asks "What is your favourite song in TLK?" people can post their favourite and that is it, there is no room for argument, sure you can agree / disagree but meh that is about it . Moreover the subject of Kopa being canon or not is something that evidently is where at least a few members have different opinions about and as there is evidence to support both sides of the argument, with no real clarification, it is more open to a full scale argument which I think it has kind of become by this point.

And I am not saying that everyone should share the same opinion, but that until it can be discussed in a better manner than it is then it really is not worth discussing.... That and the point that there is no wrong or right answer, it can be argued about all day (or months in this case) but the fact remains, you can not change ones mind on this, all you can do is give reasons for what you think personally really and that is what a debate is, and that is what people here seem to not be understanding.

A debate is not forcing your beliefs on one another or ignoring other people's as the person aboe this very post did by saying "I dont care if you agree or not", you have to be able to understand opinions, give reasoning for what you think, and give reasons for disagreeing not just phantom disagreeing, I would say what I see here is more like bickering than debating and until people learn the difference, it should not be allowed to take place or said people not be included, hence taking it to pms.

Sorry to add another boring, and overly long post to the thread lol

I am not trying to change anyone's opinion. I am just standing up for what I beleive in.

And there's nothing wrong with that, in my opinion.
I quite like the idea of Kopa being the opposite of Scar. Really pleased not to be king and really helpful, I think Simba should have something go right in his life for once haha!
Brilliant idea. =D And indeed, Simba deserves a break from drama!
I'm pretty sure you've found plenty of things that prove Kopa is canon.
No, I have not found anything like that.

Me neither. But I have heard of a goldish-brown genderless cubbie named Fluffy. So all I've said for the matter is that it could be female (and that in the official story it is.)

Yeah it could be a female. And it could be a male. I beleive "Fluffy" is most likely a male.

1.) Was not talking directly to you unless stated otherwise

2.) In the post above my long one, you said "I dont care if people agree or disagree" that is not standing for what you believe in, that is called ignorance.

Well then. I didn't know you weren't talking to me in that first one and I didn't mean to sound ignorant. What I meant was that you can agree or disagree if you wish. My opinion is my opinion.

I agree too  He could be the nice, friendly uncle to Kiara's cubs. I quite like that idea in fact. Hmm xD

I like Kopa the way he is. But Kopa not wanting to be King is a little amusing.
