lol! You're right, when I saw her presentation, I was like ''OMG, this cub is huge! The cubs were tiny in TLK.
Kiara must have been a bit older than Simba and Kopa at their presentations... She didn't look like a small baby, she was strong - and able to smile widely.
Yeah. Another epic fail in a Disney sequel. XD

I think the book is just called The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. I don't have the original, I think it was like that big Mouseworks book for TLK. but I got it in this Disney book collection, which includes other books like Mulan and stuff. the first volume of it has that TLK book I mentioned above, but I have the actual book for that one that I got when I was little.

its cover should look like this: http://www.lionking.org/sequels/TLK2/Mouseworks/Love.jpg according to www.lionking.org, it's by Mouseworks so it's probably like I said.

Oh my... I have that book! But the text is in Finnish and it doesn't say much about why Simba banished the Outsiders. Just because they were loyal to Scar. And the same text also says that Vitani was meant to be Kovu's queen... :ew: It seems that the one who wrote the text didn't know that Vitani and Nuka were Zira's cubs, too.

His "sister". :P

I had this idea once: Vitani was Nala and Scar's daughter, Kovu was Zira's son and his father was some unknown lion. Vitani and Kovu wouldn't be siblings at all and they could marry each other.
Just a theory. ;)

Your drawings are awesome. It's weird how some people think Vitani is Nala's daughter, but your not weird Nadra.

Thanks! It's nice to hear I'm not weird.
Yeah, if Vitani was really Nala's daughter, then why did she live with Zira and call her mother? Plus Vitani and Nala tried to kill each other.

Yeah. That makes no sence. But some people even think Tama's Vitani's mother. And you remember when Vitani said, "Mother's gonna be mad". Well, is it really Zira who Vitani's referring too?

Well, who else could it be?

It's hard to say anything about Tama being Vitani's mother, because we don't know much about Tama. We don't even know if she's alive or dead.

whoa, the Finnish version is weirdly off then lol. here's what mine has:
Long ago, the great king Mufasa had been killed by the treacherous act of his own brother, Scar. Scar had led a renegade grop of lions who tried to seize control of the Pride Lands.

His plot had failed, and Mufasa's son, Simba, had teaken his rightful place as king.

Now Scar was dead, but his lioness Zira had not lost her thirst for power...at any cost.

Zira and the other Outsiders lived in the Outlands, a dry and barren place where Mufasa had banished them when they began making trouble. Now, Zira was plotting to avenge Scar's death. She was training her son Kovu to take Simba's place as king of the Pride Lands. She was bringing up Kovu to be strong and ruthless.
....
Under Zira's plan, everyone had a role to play. Her favorite child, Kovu, would be king. Nuka and Vitani were to protect him.
that's why I don't think Zira killed Kopa. plus that's why Simba said "My father's law will prevail." to Zira when they discovered Kiara and Kovu.

oh, and Maisha had a pic with that Scar + Nala = Vitani thing too. although, you do have to wonder how Nala knew who Vitani was during that battle. since she left for help when she was a newborn, if Zira had even had them then. and when she came back with Simba, they were banished. so how would she knew her name and what she looks like?
