Good point. Love mixed with hatred is never a good combination. Isn't that right Zira?
I think it would have been better if he wasn't exiled for a day. They should have put a bit of time in between that and the ending of the movie. a month or two. So that when Kiara and Kovu reunite, the feeling would be even stronger.
lol, stop putting things in my head.. *thinking of writing her own version of SP..* lol

I really don't think Kovu would have done well coming back from a long exile, no one out there would help a traitor, he would have had nothing to do but survive and fume about lost love and injustice...wait, that's what I've been doing, and how has that worked out?

It shows that anybody can change, and that nobody can decide another's fate. I think that that's the best part of Kovu.

Kovu overcomes his dark side with the help of great personal integrity and the love of another. A great twist of fate.

You are so right. That is what makes Kovu such a special character in TLK2. He has changed throughout his life. He was Scar's heir but he didn't want so much of that in his life. He didn't want anything to do with Scar's legency and be on his own by leaving his side. That takes special courage to stand up to your family into saying something like "I can't live with this fact in my life! I want my times of living to be just myself and not following the pawprints (footprints) of someone from our side." Kovu was supposed to kill Simba but his daughter makes a huge impact on his changes which become very dynamic of his portrayal. :upset:

I do wonder at times, what if Kiara hadn't stopped Kovu from attacking Simba at the watering hole? What do you guys think would have happened?
