Kopa IS Cannon!
To you. Some people have different beliefs. I myself believe he was canon, but he didn't die to me, all I feel like is he ran away or something like that...
BUT, as you may agree, Jiirani, there is no proof for that. That is simply a theory. I agree with it too, the theory makes sense and is fun to think about, but it never happened.

Geez, SBS, no need to get so pissy. It's obvious you don't like Kopa by your signature :-p

Sorry, but I'm just frustrated when people only want to force Kopa as canon in order to explain TLK2 stuff - and seem to never ever interested in considering the actual, true canon that is behind the TLK2 stuff. I understand that killed/lost child thickens the plot of TLK2, but not even giving a chcnae to the true canon, I feel is unappreciation of the first film's depths and intensity and hwo it totally offers everything needed to cover the grounds in TLK2.

So it's not that I'd dislike Kopa himself. In fact I wouldn't give a damn about Kopa if it wasn't for the constant illogic theories thrown around and false information on his canonsy going around. :S If people just accepted that he isn't official canon and would start widening their theories into actually believable theories. Then I'd just leave Kopa and his fans into their happy existance. But as it is now, Kopa and his fans are effecting the entire fandom by confusing people with their false claims about Kopa. In short: It's not Kopa himself that I dislike nor his fans personally - it's what his fans do to this fandom. :S Hence. "Facts > Opinions" = infromation matters. Not the character itself so much.

I know this guy, who knows this guy, who knows this guy, who knows this guy who definitely works at DisneyHQ and he said that the fans are over reacting, Kopa is neither cannon or non cannon, he is a character in the TLK universe and should be discussed as such.
I mean come on, there is no arguments on whether the other aspects of 6NA are cannon or not, why just this one character?

BTW that anti Kopa thing in SBS sig was made by me and is pretty much meaningless, he just wanted to use it for some reason, I mean heck the original file is still on my laptop and is named "lolno"

I actually have argued also the other aspects of 6NA that are falsely claimed to be official canon. Because this main character from 6NA evidently isn't official canon, nothing else from those books can be either. (I said for one, there are more reasons that I feel no need to repeat at this moment.)

The reason is because it's funny. You made it's appearence humorous. I wouldn't use it if it said just "Kopa is not canon" or something else such. As it is now, the banner is clever and funny. But even so I might not use it if there wasn't those "I support Kopa as canon" banners being used because it's the most funniest among them. Without them, no one would get the joke. I'll drop that banner anyway, whenever I'm inspired to make a new siggy of my regilar size (400x100) as then that banner won't fit in for a visually pretty sig.

Ughhh....I'm not even gonna bother SBS. Its obvious that you hate everything that isn't shown in the movie. Zira wasn't in TLK but you know she was there. (no offense SBS) Sorry if I sound rude but I'm so frustrated.

1.) I don't hate everything that isn't in the movies. I hate just two things: the same old illogic theories constantly repeated without any change or recnsideration whatsoever, plus I hate lies about official canoncy being spread around. And unfortunately both of those things are strongly combined in their existence.

2.) I've never claimed that I know Zira is there in the original film as obviously she is not. What I know is that Zira is there in the official storyline, because SP is an official movie sequel created by Disney's animators for the official movie created by Disney's animators. I have never claimed Zira to be officially canon. She is just officially part of the official storyline.

TLK2 is canon to me personally. But I have never ever claimed that it is officially canon. I make clear that it is created by Disney's animators but by different ones than the originlal film, resulting in it not being official canon but just simply offficial sequel and part of the official storyline.

Wow, could you be any more close-minded and insulting toward the theories and opinions (we are allowed to have opinions here, and to express them, we talked about this!)of other members? You don't have to adopt others' opinions, nor do I expect you to do so but your insulting them is quite offensive.

I've called the popular theories illogic many times before and included valid reasoning for why i call them that, which results into not an insult but a reasoned opinion argument. I didn't include the reasoning at this point anymore because it's been given a gazillion times in this very discussion thread and everywhere else, by many people and not just by me. Certainly you might be insulted if you choose to ignore everything that contradicts your personal belief. But that's really not my problem.

Instead of thinking up new theories for a change, you guys keep on throwing the same theories over and over again even though they've been disputet many times as not as believanle/logic as you'd like them to be. You show no interest in anything but your own, personal belief and favourite theory. I personally have literally said many times that I wish people would come up with new and exciting theories. Even brought up some myself. So let's think again, who exactly is the closed-minded here.
