Kopa + 'Tani forever! ^^ Aaww..Poor Kopa was only in TLK story book(s). He would have been AWESOME in the movies! I believe he was almost killed by Zira..but he healed and ran away to the grasslands or the jungle that Simba once lived in! ^^ Or another pride could have found him.

Maybe? We'll never know, Disney wants to hide Kopa because he caused such a huge uproar with the 2 presentations... The cub in the end of TLK doesn't even look like Kiara!

I like Kopa! He's curious, playful and kind little cub. Unlike many other people, I also like his design just the way it is.
I actually like that there are characters that we don't know very well. I love creating my own theories. I'm making a comic about Kopa's life... I don't think he got killed, he just argued with his dad and secretly ran away. Simba thought that Zira killed his son and banished her.
Most mysterious character ever. My favorite character besides Scar. What happened to him? Was he killed by Zira? Did he ran because of her? Disney won't tell us! DX

Edit: I found something weird in the song He Lives In You... In some part, it says ''And the voice, of the fear of a child'' it might mean that Kopa was attacked or something. I don't think it was Simba, because he wasn't scared of something when she saw his dad dead. He was just shocked and really sad. And nobody would attack the king's son expect from some other lion. So a lion or a lioness, possibly Zira, murdered Kopa. Kopa might have shouted ''help'' so it could mean the ''voice''. So Disney was trying to tell us Kopa's story with the beginning of a song? :disgust: We have a mystery to solve! lol
it's "And the voice, with the fear of a child..." that part is referring to Nala having Kiara that morning. fathers are so nervous, worried, and afraid when their mates' go into labor. so that's what it's talking about, not a child being afraid.

but Zira couldn't have killed Kopa, or Simba couldn't have thought she was responsible for one reason: Simba was willing to accept Zira back into the pride if she put the past behind her and stopped the fighting like the other Outlanders. I don't think Simba would let his cub's murderer back in the pride, that IS a crime worth banishment.

Wow, that was interesting... :hmm: But does that mean that Kiara was really born at the night before presentation? She's so big, and her eyes are open! :o

I agree. I think that Simba blamed Zira for Kopa's death, but found out later that Zira didn't kill him (I don't know how). He still didn't let Zira come back, because they had had a big fight (the hole in Zira's ear) and Zira had shown how loyal she was to Scar... Well, that's my theory.

I heard that lion cubs open their eyes immediately, but that source might've been unreliable :? she is sorta big, maybe she's just chubbier than Simba as a baby lol. I just wish they would've put cubbie spots on her like they did Simba. even though Simba's magically disappeared half way through the ceremony.

I would put my theory of what happened to Kopa, but that would reveal too much of my fan-fic Legacy of The Lion King (which I will finish before I graduate high school!). but I actually came across a TLK2 book that explained why the Outlanders were banished, another reason I don't think Zira had anything to do with Kopa's vanishing. it said that Scar was originally going to overthrow Mufasa with some renegade lions, who Mufasa banished to the Outlands once they started making trouble. so that's what Simba means when he says "My father's law will prevail." I can see why they'd be angry at Simba. they were banished, allowed back into the pride, and then banished again because of what they did long ago.

Huh, lion cubs open their eyes 10-14 days after birth... So I think Kiara was born earlier but she was presented when her eyes opened. It's a pity she didn't have any spots. She didn't look very cute to me... She was just so big, much bigger than baby Simba or Kopa. Nala had been feeding her well. :P

I've never read that kind of book, but I've always thought that was what happened! :o What book was it?

lol! You're right, when I saw her presentation, I was like ''OMG, this cub is huge! The cubs were tiny in TLK.

Kiara must have been a bit older than Simba and Kopa at their presentations... She didn't look like a small baby, she was strong - and able to smile widely.
