Yes, even though Kiara had to convince her father that the Prides didn't need to kill each other.

I don't understand why people say she's dumb!
She connected the prides together people! She was Kovu's muse to become a better lion and will one day become an awesome queen.
And when people say she's a crap hunter- Simba was super protective (as we know) so she never had the chance to learn! In the "Nala" section of the characters bit, someone said she's a disgrace to Nala, which I think is harsh. I mean, I love Nala but she's not that much better than Kiara. Nala never proves her hunting skills, so why do people say she's better than Kiara??
Kiara's awesome.

Ok I've had my rant now, I'll shutup :innocent:
lol, I think that's their problem... She falls in love with someone that's supposed to kill her in like a day and she does so many heroic things that it makes her look ridiculous... I'm not a Kiara hater, but I can't say that I disagree with everything the haters say.
Ever heard of true love? And Kovu wansn't set out to kill Kiara, he was out to kill Simba.
And she doesn't do heaps of heroic things, all she does in one day is make the prides understand, and save her FATHER!
I'm not trying to have a go, but it's either "Kiara is hopeless" of "Kiara is too much of a hero". It's ridiculous.
Yes, but it's impossible to fall in love with someone in one day when you know he could be dangerous.. And still, if Kovu didn't kill Kiara (being Simba's heiress and all that), Zira would. xD As for the heaps of heroic things. First, she tries to forgive someone when she doesn't know what the hell happened, runs away from home to go find Kovu who could have just deceived everyone, decides that her and Kovu should not run away but reunite the prides, stop Zira and Simba from killing each other, define everyone ''we are one'' and change the minds of the Outsiders, save Simba, and TRY TO SAVE SOMEONE WHO TRIED TO KILL HER FATHER. If those aren't too much.. But I suppose the directors wanted to make SP exciting and heroic enough, and never realized that Kiara did most of the heroic acts in the movie. :S

Fine, so Kiara would have probably died if Zira won, but Kovu had no intention of being to blame for her death. His original intentions of befriending Kiara had nothing to do with a devious plot. It's pretty easy to see that. Zira was the one who decided to use it for evil purposes. Kovu and Kiara were meant for each other, that much is easy to see. Kiara was never in any danger from Kovu. Kiara was brave, but she knew she was safe in that area.

I agree here too, with TPAM...

If Kiara DIDN'T do any heroic acts and etc, the movie would be more pointless since the focus on the movie is mainly on her... if she would just skulk around being stupid as some people say she is, there is no point in watching the movie really if one of the main characters in the film is... stupid. Lol. But I do agree on the fact that the producers just squeezed in too many heroic acts in one go, lol... but she seems as though she is desperate for no fights and no enemies, so it kinda fits in a way...

These Kiara arguments are freaking funny, and as Pixielicious wrote: "it's either "Kiara is hopeless" or "Kiara is too much of a hero"."

Amazing... the science of opinions... fascinating... XD.

I, for one, think that she is just the character that the sequel needed, something different.... as you all saw, she is not the same as Simba at all... well except for the wandering around where you shouldn't be part... that seems to run down in the family no matter what. :P

Again, I would combine those statements into "Kiara doesn't quite show the capability to perform that many heroic deeds", citing her inability to notice Kovu's hostility and thinking he fits behind a blade of grass as prime examples. Playing devil's advocate over here. :3
