It was a living nightmare! No food...no water, and hyenas everywhere. They even tried to eat me several times! Luckily, Mom and Nala were there to save me.

Not right at the outset. After more than a decade of drought and food shortages bordering on famine, which did much to arouse discontent within the pride. Since I was a major voice of dissent within the pride under Scar at that time, I began to fear for my safety, but was reasonably secure in the notion that, had anything actually happened to me, revolution assuredly would have been the result.
