Ya, Nala didn't even manage to catch Pumbaa, she isn't better than Kiara.

Thank you, I couldn`t agree more.

About the hunting: Nala seems more excperienced, so I think many people assume she`s a good hunter compared to the inexcperienced Kiara. Plus, Nalas character is so perfect, it`s easy for people who dislike Kiara to rip on her because of her hunting skills.
Like you said, her protected life and lack of practice is what leads her to being a "not great" huntress. I think she will be as good as any lioness once she`s gotten more practice, and besides: She`ll be hunting together with the pride, not by herself.

Yeh definately, everyone knows that lionesses hunt together (majority of the time) and so Kiara was obviously going to have trouble hunting by herself, especially for her first time. I love Kiara. She's a ray of sunshine.

It is unfair to judge Kiara on her hunting skills, she is still very young and she is the sole heir to the pridelands. She is seen as the last hope of succession and is thus protected most stringently.

She's not my favourite, but I think that's because we haven't had a chance to see her as an adult.

lol, I think that's their problem... She falls in love with someone that's supposed to kill her in like a day and she does so many heroic things that it makes her look ridiculous... I'm not a Kiara hater, but I can't say that I disagree with everything the haters say.
