Because she's in my opinion whiny and annoying, not very bright and the only purpose she served was to bring the outlanders and pridelanders together. Actually that was pretty much what they were trying to do in SP. They could've just passed Kiara and Kovu off as friends rather than two lions who fall in love in 2 minutes. That pairing is just TOO sweet for my taste.
