Well, was it said in the book that she had "more brains" than Ahadi? And all wisdom might not be inherited.

I think Ahadi is Mohatu's cub only because that other lion in that book is who I consider Uru's father. but it could be a relative of Mohatu's since they have similar colors and Ahadi has some of his features too since that lion's basically a Scar clone.
