Did you know? Kovu was originally gonna be Scar's son, but they changed it because then Kiara and Kovu would be related.. :ehh2:

You can still see that he looks like Scar, but it is mentioned two times in the movie that they adopted him.

I knew that, and in my theory he is Scar's son. It's a shame that they had to change that thing... It just sounds weird that a lion like Scar would choose a random cub to become his heir.

I would have a theory like that too, but then Kiara and Kovu would be related... and I don't really want that... :disgust:

Well, they wouldn't be very close relatives... Anyway, I love to hear new theories about Kovu's parents.

I also believe that Zira is NOT! his mother, because he got nothing from her. I believe his mother died, and maybe his dad (if it wasn't Scar) died too. Zira felt sorry for the cub and adopted it. I also got a theory that Zira's parents were killed by hunters when she was a cubbie and Scar took her in.

Huh, Zira feeling sorry for somebody?

I believe she is Kovu's mother because I just can't imagine her adopting a cub... And Kovu did inherit something from Zira: the nose!

Well, I think that the Finnsih back cover text said that Kovu was Zira's adoptive son... But I don't really trust that text.
I once thought that Kovu could be Nala's son. Just a theory.
