Exactly,I know my father is not really wise...I also feel so sad because while I was little he rarely used to play with me,always with my big brother,because he was into cars...That's why Mufasa's and Simba's relationship always awakens those sad feelings...

Mufasa is almost the only father figure in all of the Lion King (besides Simba once he procreates). We never find out who Kovu's, Nuka's, and Vitani's father was in LKII (assuming they all had the same father). Or Timon's father in LK1/2. We don't officially know who Nala's father was (although most assume it was Scar, making Simba and Nala cousins and thus starting a SCANDAL xD ).

Maybe Mufasa is just awesome because he's THERE. xD
