that reminds me, I want to try coloring it in on the computer this time. I'll take a picture and upload it and see what I can do on paint. It'll probably end up terrible but whatever :P I'll also color the thing normally.

I think Kovu is a great lion. ^^ When it comes to different forms of him, I like the adult portion of Kovu more than the cubby version. However, I still like the cub version too. I just connect more with Kovu when he's an adult. I'm glad that he chose the right path in the end. Definitely one of my all time favorite characters in TLK2SP. ^^

Kovu is my LEAST favorite character in the whole LK series. There are reasons why.

Kovu reminds me of some annoying modern disney pop star with his manedo and his voice. It's weird how he is all, "I kill Simba, I am destined to do so because momma says so." Then when spends a less then a day with Kiara he's all, "She's so sweet, awesome, and great I have to reform my ways." in that instant. I get the film was short and it was most likely that kids were watching it, but the people that were making this film I don't think REALLY understood the point of the original Lion King.

When the film came out I was just neturual with Kovu. I just liked him because he just seemed to be a cool character and he was mainly Kiara's love interest, but because I am older and have compared the second film with the first, I see SO MANY differences.

Now probably the only reason why Kovu doesn't have as much depth to him as the movie tries to imply but fails to do so, (at least for me) because he is mainly Kiara's love interest. :P

I'm sorry if I have upset anyone with my opinion towards Kovu, I just don't like him...he just is a bland character to me. If this film had more time and the people actually tried to put a lot of depth to the film, like have more scenes with Nuka, Kovu, or Nala, I think more people would have liked it and I wouldn't have the three following characters so low in my list of favorite characters.

Nah, I totally agree with SimbaandShenzifan. I never liked Kovu. Now I did when he was an Outsider, he did seem alil dark. But I just don't like him. Besides, he got in the way of my fav Outsider [Male Outside], Nuka. So I have my reasons not to like him.

I love Kovu in spite of those flaws you guys pointed out (because they are legitimate flaws, I agree) I love his voice, his smile, and the dedication he shows in the end. I just think of it as if the "good" Kovu is the only one that's existed, so it's not a big "change" throughout the movie.

There was no "Good" Kovu if you think about it either. He was trained to be bad and he did. :smirk: I think the Disney movie went by WAY too fast for a real change to occur.

What I meant was that there is only one "real" Kovu in my mind, as if the brainwashed version never existed for me. Like, I pretend he was the good guy all along and conveniently forget the parts when he acts evil. That lets me get past the issue of his personality change.

Yay for doublethink (1984 reference lol)

Hmm. That has a point. >.>.... Oh well u_u I still think Kovu wasn't all brainwashed, just evil at his heart. Kiara took that evil away WAY too fast.
