I personally think ahadi is one of the ugliest and anoying charachters in the lion king series. :headache: Iam glad that Taka killed him!
But I wonder how he really got the scar. And the scar might have affected Taka so much that he named himself after it. It surely couldn't have been a "normal" scar, like from an accident...
in Tale of Two Brothers, that buffalo gave him that scar when he was trying to get Mufasa in trouble. and in the book, it says King Ahadi loved both his sons. but he had to deal with the responsibilities of being king and teaching Mufasa to be king, often having to break his promises to Taka that he'd spend time with him. he broke promises to Mufasa too, but Muffy handled it more calmly and understanding. whereas Taka had the whole teen angst going on.

ironically, Ahadi means "promise" in Swahili.

It has always been difficult for me to see Ahadi as the bad guy of the story. I don't mean that Taka was bad, he was just childish. I love the story about how he gets his scar. He was lucky to not lose his eye.

Ahadi's pic is like a clone of Mufasa...but the description says he has a long black mane and bright green eyes...

well, aside from eye and mane color, I typically go by the pic for Ahadi.

but Ahadi's features that combine not only Mufasa's characteristics but Scar's as well. I noticed the "patch" or "eyeshadow" coloration above his eyes is like Mufasa's, but the coloration of it below his eyes is like Scar's. while the nose "pad" is like Mufasa's, the nose itself is more angular like Scar's.

That's true! And if we believe that the picture is right, I think Mohatu should be Ahadi's dad.
