I think thats why they made her die like that. In case they wanted to make another lion king, she could be the main villain again. If they didn't she would've been "dead" xD

Well, nobody knows for sure. Why couldn't she grab Kiara's paw? She didn't have to jump into a river full of logs and rocks and almost get drown!
