there's six different books. collectively called The Lion King: Six New Adventures (TLK6NA for short). 1- Tale of Two Brothers, 2- Nala's Dare, 3- Vulture Shock, 4- Snake in the Grass, 5- Follow the Leader, and 6- How True Zazu?

OMG, DOOD THIS IS LAME. Guys, who said that Kiara is Kopa's younger sister and not older sister?!!? The events of TLK6NA could have happened after SP, maybe Kovu and Kiara left because they didn't want to be king and queen (Kovu doesn't know anything about those and Kiara doesn't wanna be queen) and Nala had another cub to be the future king.

That's true. But I believe that Kopa was the cub at the end of TLK. Of course I'm not sure.

Kopa23 that makes more sense to me yeah. Because kiara is not mentioned in the book. I found the book on internet but i did not find kiara or kovu in it.
It can be that kiara is adult and kovu is a baby cub at same time.

the reason is cause throughout the book it continually mentions Kopa will be the next Lion King. and it's the first born that is the first choice for heir. plus in every book it summarizes what happened in TLK up to the present in the book.

besides, Kiara did want to be queen later in the movie. she chose not to runaway from responsibilities to her pride and go with Kovu (he suggested that after LWFA). she went back to stop the war and bring the prides together. why bother if you're just going to runaway cause you don't want that responsibility?

I've heard that theory of Kiara being older before. it makes sense until a certain point.

true. but he does appear in a German audioplay called "Freunde für's Leben" which translated is "Friends for Life". kati-kopa made a comic version of it.

Oh yeah -- there's also another audio play that takes place after Friends for Life called Kampf um den Thron, which translates to "Fight for the Throne", where some hyenas trick Simba into giving up his throne to a cheetah. Believe me, it's much better than it sounds -- in fact, I think I like these two stories better than TLK:6NA.

The odd thing is that several months appear to pass over the course of this story, and it's mentioned that Kopa becomes "big and strong" during that time, but it's never described exactly how old he is at the end of the story -- or what became of Asante the hyena, for that matter.

oh, that sounds awesome! lol, I'm going to be glued to that for a bit. too bad it doesn't mention Asante again, I thought that plot with her and Kopa was pretty good.
