But it doesn't matter what I say. You, for an example, have slashed at mes, claiming me to have said something I hadn't even implied in the posts in question. It seems like the only way I could stop bothering you is if I didn't say anything at all and that's not fair. I have the right to discuss and even post arguments the same as anyone else. And in the end, it still is all up to you guys if my posts bother you. As in if you can't take them as intelelctual arguments and consider them seriously, you don't have to read them - but you choose to. So don't moan if they bother you. The fact that my posts get on your nerves and nothing else, you should take as an indication to not read them.

You do realize you're not obligated to read my posts either, but you do. So you've already contradicted yourself trying to make me wrong. Furthermore, a post is not an intelligent argument unless it uses logic and, in the case of this forum, points that haven't already been stated. Your posts basically repeat the same thing that you've been saying on the forum for the past month. The reason I'm so offended by your posts is because you very, very often call the opinions of others lies, and you've even said they are stupid and gotten quite worked up over it. You've said things that seem quite directly meant to offend those who like Kopa and Mheetu, albeit you did it subtly. When someone comes onto this forum and it seems their very presence here revolves around dissing characters, dissing the opinions others, trying to force your opinions (call it fact if you wish, but all of our ideas are ultimately opinions) upon us, and doing everything in your power to disprove others' opinions almost no matter whose it is, or what it is. It is quite offensive, hence the reason so many of us are upset over your behavior.

Perhaps the fact that you have a different native language than I do, or perhaps you just think that because you're older than most people on this forum, we can't possible have minds of equal intelligence as yours. Whatever the reason, we're all human beings, we all have our opinions, and we should all be able to express them without having them attacked in every way one or a few people can manage to think of.

You're probably a very nice person. I'd love to get to know you. But I can't really look past your offensive posting activity here. If you would just let people say their opinions without always feeling the need to prove it wrong if it disagrees with your own, I bet you and the rest of us could really get along nicely and perhaps develop friendships as a lot of us have done here. After all, that is ultimately the point of joining a forum.

I contradicted myself knowingly, because actually there's an essential difference between you and me when it comes to how we act on our frustration and annoyence on each others posts, which was my point. While I get frustrated and annoyed, I also post valid and intellectual arguments instead of just moaning at you and complaining about you. So I actually read the posts for a constructive purpose and act according to it.

Also, I'm interested in the topic and sometimes a Kopa fan actually may say something new and if I don't read the Kopa fans' posts, I might miss them, while I also like to keep an eye on the false information which I aim to correct if spread.

SnowyCheetah wrote:Furthermore, a post is not an intelligent argument unless it uses logic and, in the case of this forum, points that haven't already been stated. Your posts basically repeat the same thing that you've been saying on the forum for the past month.

In case you havent' noticed, you guys repeat the same theories and arguments just the same as I do mine. It's a little like 'ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer' type of thing. It's in your hands to stop the repeating cycle because it's you who always posts first. Why should I bother to make up new arguments when you don't bother to do so either.

SnowyCheetah wrote:The reason I'm so offended by your posts is because you very, very often call the opinions of others lies, and you've even said they are stupid and gotten quite worked up over it. If I've actually called someone's opinion or belief stupid, as in used such word, I am sincerely sorry. But lies they do become when they claim Kopa is officially the cub at the end, when in truth he's not. And when they claim Kopa is canon and say nothing more and thus give the impression he is officially canon, when in truth he's not. When a statement is more or less intentionally untrue, it can and will be called a lie. And I've always reasoned why it is a lie. If you don't want your statements to be accused for being a lie, get your facts straight instead of claiming your personal beliefs to be the truth.

Hence, the key word: seems. It depends on the way you decide to look at my posts and on if you bother to go through my post history. I've been here for over six months and my post history proves I'm not who you think I am.

SnowyCheetah wrote:Whatever the reason, we're all human beings, we all have our opinions, and we should all be able to express them without having them attacked in every way one or a few people can manage to think of.

Argument = attack. No, it doesn't have to be taken that way and when they're reasond posts, they certainly are meant as intellectual arguments and not attacks. If you do take them as attacks in any case, it's really your problem and thus you'd better just stop reading the arguments.

SnowyCheetah wrote:You're probably a very nice person. I'd love to get to know you. But I can't really look past your offensive posting activity here. If you would just let people say their opinions without always feeling the need to prove it wrong if it disagrees with your own,

Yes, they say I'm a nice person and I'd like to think I am too. I don't mean to prove anything wrong if I disagree with it. I mean to prove the thing wrong if it claims to be a fact when the actual facts contradict it. In other cases, I just mean and try to offer another point of view, poke people to pay attention and consider the first movie's content too instead of just their personal Kopa loving theories.

You're still doing one of the things I pointed out, which is continuing to call the opinions of others lies. It is their opinion and they have every right to express it. What you're doing, trying to shut them up, is called disrespect, and I seem to remember that doing that is frowned upon.

Sorry, but untrue = a lie is a rule in life that I didn't make while it is something that is right to be pointed out because usually people don't like lies.

Remember, this is where I stand:
"Kopa is canon!" or "Kopa exists in the movies!" = opinion, but untrue as in a lie because he doesn't appear in any of the films + he wasn't even tied into them by any of the films' makers.
"Kopa is canon to me!" or "Kopa exists in the movies to me!" = opinion and true because you're talking about yourself only.

I fully agree with this. I find it very annoying when someone asks "Who is Kopa?" and the answer that person gets is "Kopa is Simba and Nala's son, Kiara's older brother and was killed by Zira". :headache:
Since when?

I like Mheetu, I really wished they put him in the movie. The pride was kinda lacking in cubs. xD

I wish there was more cubs in the movies, even just in the background! It is very unusual for a pride to only have 2 cubs...

Yeah, I'd like to see some more in the background or even with 1 or 2 lines like Sarafina. Not as developed characters, because the movie would have too many characters and it would distract from Simba and Nala's relationship, and that's why Mheetu got cut.

It would've been interesting just for a couple of cubs to have walked by Simba and Nala at some point and greet them xDD Like 'Hey Simba, hey Nala.' And then just walk off. I mean, that way there would obviously be more cubs in the pride, ya just don't see 'em :3
