Nala), and Simba doesn't, it makes it a little more apparant that the cub might be a girl. But this could of also of been a continuity error, and is never really mentioned by the films creators.

Everyone knows 6NA is unoffical because it was created by someone outside of Disney
I believe he is canon because I personally don't believe Kiara was fit for her role as Simba's cub, or that Kopa would have been a better heir. I also believe he's canon because of the difference between the cub at the end of TLK and the cub at the beginning of SP. It's just my opinion on it, lol
