I like Simba's design the most. I favor him as an adult.

Well, been a while since I last caused mayhem on this page, Simba is cool and all, but I have a quota to keep up, and he isn't my favorite.

Nah that is of course understandable, you can not have every character as your favourite after all.
And as for the thread: errr I preferred his playful and energetic personality as a cub to be honest.

His adult form is better than his cubbiness. Frankly, his cubby likability is limited by his cocky attitude and his carefree nature. Adult Simba is still carefree as he lives in the lap of Hakuna Matata. But eventually, he becomes the king he was born to be. Though we do not know what struggles Mufasa faced on his path to king, we can assume that it wasn't as painful as Simba's. To overcome the death of one who meant the world to you is quite admirable. Not to mention, his friends stand by his side til the end, as he will stand by them. Simba is the greatest character in the Lion King franchise. However, I reserve the right to claim Kovu as the greatest hero in Disney history.
So, what does everyone think of Simba?
In my own opinion, Simba is kind of a great lion. He has all these tricks that no one can ever expect. That's why I chose him with his friends and family to be in my new FanFic story.

I agree with this a bunch.

But I still think Simba as a cub was still very likable, because he was just a boy. Trying to impress a girl, trying to get into trouble, asking questions, and just feeling entitled like he's already a king. XD

That's normal boy stuff, and it's just a reflection of his happy life. What made Simba one of the best characters of all time is that we got to see him mature and grow up. He went from being a boy to the leonine ruler Mufasa would've wanted him to be.

But hey, that's just how I saw it.
