I would be more inclined to think that Chaka was in TLK than Kopa because at least Chaka was in the story for a little bit there. I mean, I don't think he is the cub, but it would be more possible than a cub that had no relation to SP.

I believe that Kopa really was.
1) SNA is official.
2) What if Kopa lost after SNA events and what if Kiara was born after SNA events? Also, cub in the end of TLK doesn`t looks like Kiara at all. Simba and Nala at the presentation of this cub look younger than at presentation of Kiara. And two presentations are different.
3)Kovu was born at Scar`s reign so it makes him older than Kiara. Kopa was born before Kiara. So it seems like Kopa was born when Kovu was an 4-month-old cub. So if Kopa really was, Kovu must be older than Kiara on 8 months. Why both Kovu and Kiara have the same size? Well, remeber, that 1-year-old cub and 4-months-old one have the same proportions. And also, it is a movie. In "Bembi" Ronno is older than Bembi on 1 year but Bembi and Ronno have the same sizes.

Also Kovu really looks older than Kiara.

I for some reason always thought he would be good at hunting too and really playful. I think that because nearly all of the cubs are like that, that he likely would be as well.
