Latari, there is no evidence in the books/movies that Ahadi was abusive to Taka.
I think some fanfics suggest that Ahadi gave Taka his scar or something, but I’m not sure.

I don't know, maybe Ahadi was not abusing Taka, maybe he was just... ignoring him? Maybe Ahadi was paying more attention to Mufasa because he was gonna be future king and all... and Taka was jealous...

Well, in Tale of Two Brothers it becomes known that Ahadi often broke promises made to Taka in order to spend time with Mufasa. Ahadi probably saw it as vital to spend as much time with Mufasa as possible, seeing as he was the heir to the throne. I reckon Taka felt neglected.
I just don’t think there was any physical or mental abuse in the picture.

But I wonder how he really got the scar. And the scar might have affected Taka so much that he named himself after it. It surely couldn't have been a "normal" scar, like from an accident...

I like Ahadi. He's an interesting character. It's said that he loved both of his sons. It must have been hard... He had to teach Mufasa to be king, but his other son needed time, too.

I saw the picture of Ahadi before I read the text, so I always see Ahadi as a brown-eyed lion with a brown mane.

Ahadi is cool, but he should have payed more attention to Taka/Scar. Scar was rubbish for him. (Taka means dirt/rubbish in Swahili)

It means also "to want". I hope that's why they gave him such a name.
