Hey! There's been a lot of versions released for this award winning single. So which version is your favorite? Out of all of them, my favorite is still the movie version. I think that this song is too heart warming to be sung by a low, raspy voice hehe

Same here, I like the movie version the best.

I've read the script for the very original song, and it was cool. I guess it would be my second favorite.

Me too! For almost all the songs, I like the originals best, except for a few sung by Lebo M. He's so good!

Lebo M is amazing. He's a true artist of music hehe. If you have the Lion King special edition (the ones with the hand drawn characters), there's a video all about him and its really cool. Maybe I'll upload it or maybe you can find it on youtube.

Yeah thats my favorite version of The Lion Sleeps tonight. I purposefully put the most known version and his version at the end together so people could see how much better his is. Its just so much more lovable. He's so amazing at putting songs like that together.

It's even catchier than the original one! Whenever I listen to the original, I always think of a singing hippo and a dancing dog, but maybe that's because I've listened to it on YouTube so much...

LOL yeah that version is a bit weird. Lebo's is 3 times as good in my opinion. I love the ending the best

My favorite is actually the Elton John version I always love when it plays at the credits.

Though the movie version is my 2nd favorite xD
