Hm... I think they are not.
Laurel and Hardy had an completly other way to make people laugh.
But the Thick and Thin thing might be close tho them, since everyone asociates such a pair whit fun! :D

well, they did more slapstick humor. but it very well could be. perhaps that was what they were aiming for a little bit when they created them.

PK, they're these old comedians. they even made it into the Scooby Doo Where Are You? shows where they run into famous people.
