Sorry i just think it would have been good like they could have had Zira make Him run away and return to save kiara from kopa or somethin,and a we are one with kopa in it.

He wouldn't fit in Simba's Pride because SP is based off Romeo and Juliet. That's most likely the reason Chaka was cut, too :\ Plus, there's no way a young cub would survive in exile... Male lions kill young cubs so he wouldn't be able to join another pride. Simba was just lucky that he ended up with Timon and Pumbaa.

Did i say Kopa would be exiled in some fan stories he find Mheetu and joins his pride

lol, Scar didn't really exile Simba either. He just told him to run away, but people still count it as an exile. =P

Well, I doubt Disney would count Mheetu as an official character... Which is a shame, because I'd be awesome for Nala to have a little brother. But if TLK lions were like real-life lions, Mheetu would be murdered by Scar like all the males do to young cubs. I guess Nala survived because she was too old, and males won't kill cubs after they reach a certain age. But as a fan-theory, I like it (Kopa joining Mheetu's pride) ^.^

I would have been nice if Kopa was in Simba’s Pride, but he wouldn’t fit in, not with the way the story was set up..

I love Kopa, but as he’s a character from the "book universe," the animators could choose to ignore him and make Simba’s cub a girl: Kiara.
As Kopa23 mentioned, in the early version of SP, Kiara was going to have a brother named Chaka (wich would basicly be Kopa) but he was dropped quite early as he wouldn’t fit in because of the storyline with Kiara and Kovu falling in love, etc.

The sad fact is that with the way the animators chose to angle the story, Simba could only have one cub, and it would have to be female.

That being said, I for one am very happy that Kiara exists, though I would have loved to see Kopa in live animation, he still lives on in TLK6NA.
