How ironic. =P

I would dismiss that as evidence. If you look hard enough at anything you can see what you want to see. Even as a 'believer' in Kopa I would not hesitate to say I believe there is nothing in SP that suggests the existence of Kopa. You could say losing Kopa is why Simba is overprotective. I could also say it's because Nala was almost killed by a rival pride. They both have an equal amount of evidence from the movies: none. The tail tuft is wishful thinking in my opinion. =P

okay. If thats what you think it means, good for you. But there are other people who beleive that that cute scene also hinted at Kopa.

I wasn't being ironic. I was just making up for my former off-topicness by supporting the original poster :)
Anyway..I also think the hair tuft thing is wishful thinking but I also see why it could be relevant. There's really no way if knowing what Disney meant (or didn't mean) by adding that detail and fans like to speculate, as we all know.

Semi-off-topic:

I've always though that the scene where Timonn & Pumbaa go on about "the little guy" and Rafiki then laughs heartfeltly and says "It is a girl" and Timon & Pumbaa get downright shocked and faint...

...is the film makers' way of poking fun at all the viewers who thought Fluffy was a boy. I mean, it is a comical scene fitting the film perfectly, but it could be also that.

:)

Neither have I..I always assumed it was added for comic relief. But that is an interesting thought.

I always thought that when Timon and Pumbaa said that that they meant Kopa
