I never really cried during the scene, even as a little kid, but now ever time I see that scene, I shiver everytime I hear "Long Live The King". The feeling is intense if you think about it.

Me personally, I found Mufasa's death scene really sad, seeing how Cubby Simba really looked up to his father and was being taught how to properly take care of the Pride Lands. I can connect with Simba a lot and I felt the same sorrow he was experiencing.
I felt so bad for him. I got teary eyed.
